Although I like to snap photos or videos on the fly and post them to my Instagram business account, more often than not I’m using images or videos that I either already have on my computer or that I am creating or editing on the desktop. For creating professional looking branded images with text and graphic overlays, my favorite tool to use is Canva.
This video walks through the simple process I use to make posting on Instagram quick and easy using photos or videos that are on my computer. After I create and edit the image, I save it to my Dropbox (Google Drive is another good option) and then use the Dropbox app to save it to my phone or ipad. To save time on creating longer descriptions, I write them in an email to myself, open the email on my phone, and copy and paste it into Instagram.
